OUR MATERIALS
Canvas
We use the finest artists canvas and papers for all of the prints
we produce. Our standard canvas is a 300gsm 100% cotton canvas that
will result in a warm and pleasing finish. Our premium option is
a 400gsm 100% cotton canvas and has a more heavily textured surface
which gives the images a premium quality and feel. We can also print
on Polycanvas which is a 220gsm weight and is a very white finish
offering a sharp bright quality. This costs the same as the standard
cotton canvas, but please email us if you would prefer this option.
Frames
Our Museum Quality Artists Stretcher Bars are made of the finest
quality kiln dried fir wood, which has the advantage of being very
light, yet extremely hard wearing and not susceptible to warping.
Our standard frame is 1½" (38mm) and also incorporates
‘wedges’ which are placed in each corner and allow the
canvas to be stretched extremely tightly over the frame. It also
allows the canvas to be restretched over time if needed. Our premium
stretcher bars are chunky at 44mm deep and made from European pine
featuring extra-strong laminated wood construction to minimize warping.
Lifetime Quality Guarantee
We use only the finest possible canvas, ink and stretcher bars,
and because we don't make any compromises, we can offer you a lifetime
guarantee on all our products. We guarantee that:
- the inks on the canvas print will not fade
- the canvas will not sag or need restretching
- the frame will stay strong
Our Inks and Printing Process
The printing process we utilise is a technologically advanced
12 Colour HP Vivera pigment based system. This has a guaranteed
colour fastness (according to HP data) of 200 years. The 12 colour
process results in a truly amazing colour reproduction and fabulous
neutral and true black and white prints.

Hanging Kits
Although our canvas prints are extremely easy to hang by simply
resting the frames on two screws or nails, we include patented CWH
Hangers for Canvas Art with every print. The unique design incorporates
a cut-out which allows the print to be hung on a standard 2 pin
picture hook (also supplied). Using these hangers ensures that the
finished print is ‘pulled’ flush to the wall and results
in a very secure fixing with minimum fuss.
Payment
Payment for your orders is made by clicking on the checkout button
once you have finished selecting your products. This will take you
to the secure Paypal site where you can pay either using an existing
Paypal account or, if you prefer, by using a credit or debit card.
Alternatively, you can pay by cheque, however this
will need to clear before we can process your order and will therefore
take longer.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Despatch
- All orders will endeavour to be despatched within 5-7 working
days of receipt of order, normally sooner. If you order a size bigger
than average, this can sometimes add another 2-3 working days onto
the despatch time.
- If there is a problem with your order preventing us from dispatching,
we will normally contact you within 1-2 working days of the order
being received by us.
Deliveries
- Deliveries are normally made on the next working day from despatch
unless advised otherwise or if being sent outside of the UK.
- All deliveries are sent via a secure courier service.
- Please ensure that someone is available at your delivery address
to accept the goods, as a signature is normally required.
Overseas Orders
- FeatureArt does not charge customs duties on International shipments
or any destination outside of the EU. If any additional customs
charges are incurred during your shipment, they are not calculated
or monitored by us nor are they the responsibility of FeatureArt.
- Whilst we do not expect that there will be any additional charges
attached to your order, we recommend that you check with your local
customs officials or post office for more information regarding
importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your on-line
order with FeatureArt.
Delivery Charges
Our standard delivery charge is £10 per order for
next day delivery to the UK after despatch. If you would like any
of the other options below, please contact us to arrange. The following
are details of our delivery charges on a per order basis:

Returns
At FeatureArt, we want you to be fully satisfied every time you
purchase from us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return
items, so below is our returns policy:
- You can return all goods (except gift vouchers, custom sized products
not listed on our website or made to order products such as 'Your
Image on Canvas') and receive a refund, if you do so within 7 days
from the date of delivery. All items must be returned with a Returns
Authorisation Number (RAN), details of how to obtain a RAN are contained
below. Unless the goods are found to be faulty, an administration
charge of £15.00 per canvas panel will be made, in order to
cover administration, re-stocking and the original delivery/handling
of your order. This charge will be deducted from any refund due.
Please note that the goods must be returned in their original unused
condition and with all packaging intact.
- We request that all goods are returned within 7 days of the date
of your request for a Returns Authorisation Number.
- If the goods delivered are faulty or have been damaged in transit,
then we will either exchange the goods free of charge, or give you
a full refund including delivery costs (full refund available only
on faulty goods), providing the goods are returned to us within
7 days from the date of delivery.
- We strongly advise all customers to check products thoroughly
upon delivery before hanging on a wall.
- FeatureArt will not accept returns for any non-faulty items (after
7 days) or items that have been used e.g. the hanging kit has been
fitted.
- In all circumstances you must contact us first in writing, either
by post or email: returns@featureart.co.uk in order to inform us
of your intentions and to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number
(RAN). We reserve the right to refuse returns if this procedure
is not followed.
- All goods must be returned via Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
- Please ensure you have read and understood thoroughly 'How to
return or exchange an item' below before returning goods.
Exchanges
-If the item ordered is not what you expected and an exchange is
required, this can be provided but a delivery charge will be incurred.
If you want to exchange the item for an alternative one, please
contact us initially to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN)
and to ensure that the item you need is available. Please note the
goods must be in their original condition and with all packaging
intact, as we cannot exchange used goods. Please see 'Returns' section
above for specific conditions. A delivery charge will be incurred
for sending out any new goods. Our Exchange policy does not apply
to custom sized products not listed on our website or made to order
products such as 'Your Image on Canvas'.
- All exchanges are offered subject to product availability and
the customer will incur any shipping costs for such exchanges.
- Exchanged items will only be dispatched after the returned goods
have been received complete with a RAN and undergone a quality control
check.
- Please ensure you have read and understood thoroughly 'How to
return or exchange an item' below before exchanging goods.
How to Return or Exchange an Item
- In order to facilitate the return of your items you must contact
us first in writing, either by post or email: returns@featureart.co.uk
in order to inform us of your intentions and to obtain a Returns
Authorisation Number (RAN). This must be done within 7 days of receiving
your order. We reserve the right to refuse returns if this procedure
is not followed.
- Please ensure that you enclose your original invoice with the
items you are returning along with a note giving the reason for
the return or the exchange. Please then wrap the package safely
and securely with the original packaging received and send it to
the address below. In the case of a defective item, please in addition
provide a full description of the fault and again, send it to us
in its original condition and all packaging intact. The address
to send all of your returns and exchanges to is on the ‘Contact
Us’ page.
- The Returns Authorisation Number should be written on your original
invoice and on the return-shipping label.
- For your protection we strongly recommend that you use a recorded-delivery
service or a courier that will offer proof of delivery. Proof of
posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility
of the customer until they are received back by FeatureArt.
Refunds
- All items must be returned to us following the guidelines and
conditions above before a refund or replacement is issued.
- Refunds to you will normally be made within 30 days of the date
of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products
will be credited to the original purchaser's credit/debit card excluding
shipping charges and less an administration fee of £15.00
per canvas panel unless faulty (please see above). As previously
stated in our Delivery Policy, international customs duties and
sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European
Community (EU).
Cancelling an Item
- Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have
the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within
seven working days of delivery. However, we regret that we cannot
accept cancellations of orders where the item has been used, not
in its original condition or without all its packaging. This policy
does not apply to products such as 'Your Image on Canvas' or custom
size prints not listed on our website, as these are made specifically
to customer requirements.
- To cancel this contract, please send an email to cancellations@featureart.co.uk
giving the reason for the return as "Contract cancellation".
Please package the relevant item safely and securely in the original
packaging and send it to us with the original invoice so that we
receive it within seven working days of the date that the item was
delivered to you. The return address is on our ‘Contact Us’
page.
- For your protection we strongly recommend that you use a recorded-delivery
service or a courier that will offer proof of delivery. Proof of
posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility
of the customer until they are received by FeatureArt. Please note
that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods
to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is
faulty.
This Delivery and Returns policy does not affect
